4th Conference of the I.S.E.I.

Abstract submission

All participants proposing to give an oral or poster presentation must submit an abstract. Please fill the forms for the abstract submission (at the below) and Registration or e-mail as an attachment to ISEI4 office. If you cannot access the Conference website (or e-mail your abstract and registration form), please send the hard copy of both forms to ISEI4 office, Division of Biological Sciences, Pusan National University, Busan 609-735, Republic of Korea. The requirement for hard copy submission may only be waived for authors who genuinely do not have access to e-mail.

Guidelines for the format of your abstract are provided in "Format for Abstracts (please enter)". Please follow the guidance carefully. Before submitting an abstract, authors should be confident that they can attend the meeting. Payment must accompany submission of your abstract and completed Registration Form.

The deadline of abstract submission is August 16 (Mon), 2004. You will be notified of the result of your submission by August 31 (Tue) 2004 (e-mail) or a few days later if you do not have e-mail. Depending on the number of abstracts submitted, you may be invited to give your oral paper as a poster, or your poster as an oral paper.

Abstracts will be printed in a Book of Abstracts, made available to delegates on arrival at the Conference. Full papers, up to 8,000 words long, must be submitted via e-mail in the format of Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF by September 24 (Fri), 2004. The contributions given at the 4^th ISEI Conference will be reviewed by referees before acceptance for publication in Special Issue of Ecological Modeling or relevant journal/book. Manuscript should be prepared following the author¡¯s guide for the journal Ecological Modeling.
