Call for papers

  We appreciate greatly all of you for participating in ISEI4 on October 24-28. We are very pleased to have you here in Busan (Pusan) to exchange ideas about ecological informatics and hope you enjoyed Korean culture while you stayed in Busan.

We encourage you to submit your papers for publication. As we discussed on the last day of ISEI4, your papers will be published on either the special issue of Ecological Modelling or the new International Journal of Ecological Informatics after peer review. Please send us the manuscript in a pdf file at isei4@pusan.ac.kr by December 31, 2004. If pdf file is not available, you could also send us your manuscript in a MS word file.

Presentation

Oral papers (except for invited speakers) are scheduled to last 15-20 minutes, including 3-5 minutes for questions. Facilities will be available for 35mm slides, overhead projection and powerpoint (laptop PC with floppy disc-drive, USB and CD-ROM). Presenters using powerpoint will be required to use the laptop provided, rather than their own laptop, so should bring their presentation devices (floppy, USB or CD). Although software will be available to unzip zipped files, there will be no zip disc-drive.

Posters should be 900 mm x 1100 mm size. They should be mounted by 1:00 pm on October 26 (Tuesday) and should remain on display throughout the Conference. Authors are encouraged to be present by their posters during poster sessions.
